Greyhound Adoptions WA have a motto which says “adopting a greyhound won’t change the world but the world will change for that greyhound”. I didn’t realise that adopting a greyhound would also change my world for the better.

Shadow came into my life as a foster but it was love at first sight and I adopted her soon after. I also didn’t realise when you adopt or foster a greyhound, you end up with a supportive and loving greyhound family behind you, who are there 24/7.

I wanted to get more involved with this amazing group that helps so many greyhounds find loving forever homes. I currently volunteer with fundraising and at events most weekends. It fills my bucket and everyone involved is an inspiration!

So, for my birthday I am asking you to donate to Greyhound Adoptions WA, because what they do means a lot to me. I hope you can help me celebrate, no matter how big or small.
