Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are devastated to share that our beloved Cathryn and stepfather Randy Tolbird have suffered an unimaginable loss. A powerful tornado tore through Oak Vale on March 15th, 2025, tragically taking the lives of Cathryn’s mother, Suzette Tolbird, and her stepbrother and son of Randy Tolbird, Ryan. In the blink of an eye, their world was shattered.

Now, as Randy and Cathryn face the overwhelming grief of losing two of the people they loved most, Randy is also left with the burden of rebuilding his life. Along with the heartbreaking loss, the storm destroyed everything Randy and Suzette had built together.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Cathryn and Randy navigate funeral expenses, temporary housing, and other essential costs as they navigate this heartbreaking time. No one should have to go through this alone, and every donation—big or small—will help lighten their load.
