Hello, my name is Bill Brough, and I am reaching out to the world for assistance with my dear friend and housemate, Catherine Lee Harp. We worked together at American Express from 1997-2005 and have remained friends over the decades. Catherine relocated out to Arizona last year to my home and was loving her new life out west.

Recently, Catherine has fallen ill with pneumonia, near fatally, and was found comatose in my home two weeks ago. After calling 9-1-1 and getting her to the hospital, she was placed in an induced coma for 5 days to attempt to repair her medical conditions. Because she is also Type-I diabetic, this only worsened matters for her health. While at the hospital, she additionally suffered a heart attack and had to be defibrillated to bring her back! The last terrible part of this story is she was also found to have acquired salmonella poisoning!

After a week in critical care ICU, she is coming around back to good health, but the road to recovery is long because of the damage this has done to her frail little body.

Catherine's unfortunate illness has caused a major financial hardship for both of us. Her bedroom is completely unusable as it is now considered a "BIO HAZARD" area! The cleanup must be done professionally and will take thousands of dollars to complete. The brand new flooring must be removed, some drywall needs to be removed and replaced, the mattress has to be cut up inside the room and disposed of into packaging for incineration, an ionizer used for at least 24 hours to clean the air, all house air ducts have to be scrubbed, and everything else in the room sanitized. Their pricing is more than Catherine and I can afford. I tried to claim this on my homeowner's insurance policy, and they have not only threatened to cancel me for this claim, they also now say they will not pay it.

Since I am retired and Catherine is going to be out of work for a period of time during her recovery, we are reaching out to our friends around the world to help us rebuild the room as soon as possible so that Catherine has a place to come home to once released from the hospital.
