Hi I’m Savanah, and on Thursday July 24 our power had been out and and my mom had an accident that resulted in traumatic injury. Catherine is currently in the intensive care unit having the best care provided for her, she has multiple fractures in her spine and a spinal cord injury, and multiple fractures throughout her body. She has currently undergone surgery to stabilize both her neck and her spine.

My mom (Catherine) is the strongest person that I know, she has an unconditional love for her gardens, chickens, family and friends and her job. She works to take care of the things and people she loves the most all the time and now she needs us to help her.

In this journey we know she is has the best care from the hospital, and our family and friends have been rocks in supporting us along this ride. Catherine would never ask for help from anyone because she takes so much pride in her hard work to provide, but we have decided to fundraise because there is going to be medical expenses, as well as her recovery to come home whenever that may be, that we are going to need help with.

This is going to be a long road ahead but I know my mother is a fighter and will do whatever she has to, to come home to her family and her beloved chickens.
