Help support Afghan Refugees

Hi,

My name is Catherine. My parents are Vietnamese immigrants and what is happening in Afghanistan is very close to my heart. My parents' immigrant journey is very similar to what the Afghan refugees are likely experiencing today. Fortunately, my family's story has a positive ending due to the generousity and kindness of absolute strangers who helped them rebuild their lives in the US. Because of this, my family not only survived, but we thrived. If you are like me, you might feel compelled to do something which is why I set up this GoFundMe account. The money raised will be donated to an organization called International Rescue Committee, https://www.rescue.org/ . It is an organization that provides assistance and support to refugees. IRC not only provides for the immediate needs of the refugees, but also provides longterm resettlement support.
