Can you imagine waking up every day to what is considered a normal life, and a turn of event can possibly leave you with limited to no mobility, and at time no speech? A typical start of my day would usually consist of meditating, yoga, praying, and a healthy organic breakfast. On what I thought would be a typical Sunday morning February 24, 2019, this all changed. I had a stroke that left me with a speech delay, my left foot and leg are heavy; often times I am unable to walk or even stand for a short period of time, and my left eye sight has been affected. I am no longer allowed to be left alone in the home, as I am considered a fall risk. My doctor informed me if I have another stroke I can lose complete sight and mobility on my left side.

I am a mother of a very smarty, & active 6 year old boy who is my world, and everything to me. At his age he needs a mother who can lift him up, run & walk with him, talk to him, play with him, and guide him. Without getting completely back to my normal self, I am unable to do any of these things.

The few times I do find myself getting better is when I go for treatment at a Holistic specialist. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by my insurance, and costs $120.00 per visit. I am required to see this specialist 3 to 4 times a week and it has become very costly on my pockets. Due to this misfortune of events, I have been out of work since the incident occurred. With all of this happening to me so suddenly, I have used up all of my savings between having to pay for medical care out of pocket, take care of my home, care for my son, in addition to all other responsibility.
