Catherine Mary Rita Wilson

Hello, this is Carlos and Michael. Our Mother was fatally hit by a car on Tuesday October 31st, 2023, while crossing the street on her nightly walk. If you ever had the pleasure of meeting our mother “Catherine,” then you most certainly received a prayer along with the most loving smile and heartfelt conversation. No matter who you were, she had love for you and wanted to share her love of Jesus Christ with you. If she never met you again on Earth, she would most certainly hope to see you again in Heaven.

She now resides in Paradise where she is free of all the pain and suffering that she endured here on Earth. Our mother was the strongest, the most courageous person that we knew and will be so greatly missed.

I am Carlos, her youngest son, and that is my 1-year-old daughter, Leila, who is pictured with her. Leila brought so much joy to her, and it breaks my heart even more to know that she will not be able to experience being her grandmother anymore. I take solace in the fact that Leila will have one more guardian angel watching after her, as all of us will. Not only did she want what is best for her family, but for all of humanity as well, and for that my brother and I believe that she deserves the most beautiful send-off possible.

Unfortunately, we were not properly prepared for this to happen, therefore we are asking for any amount that you can contribute to help cover the cost of the funeral and burial expenses of approximately $15,000.

If there are any remaining funds the proceeds will be donated to Project 150, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV. Project 150's mission is to offer free support and services to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students in the Southern Nevada area so they can remain in school and graduate.
