Catherine Kicks Cancer’s Ass

After a long journey of illness, Catherine was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and began chemotherapy 3 months ago. This has caused a hardship for her due to the time required for treatment and recovery, which keeps her away from work. Although this hardship was mitigated by the support of a loving partner, that support recently ceased when her partner could not face the challenge of support needed ahead.

Catherine had to move suddenly and abruptly, at a great personal cost. Now that she is alone and has only one part time income, life has gotten much harder.


We are hoping to raise money to help offset some of the costs of living alone and having to be off work during treatment, which she will be receiving for the foreseeable future. In addition, she will be facing major abdominal surgery following the chemotherapy treatments, which will put her fully out of work for 8 weeks. The stress of illness is hard enough to manage, without wondering how to pay your bills.
