Hi, I am Heather, Cat’s mother. She suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury February 6th and has been in the ICU since. She had a lifesaving Decompressive Craniectomy February 12th and will have to have another neurosurgery in a few months when the swelling dissipates. My daughter is a beautiful, bright, creative soul whom not even brain injury nor surgery could quell. We all feel so blessed to witness her survival, strength, & progress.

The cost of her care will probably be insurmountable despite having health insurance. She will need me, her dads, or her partner Luke by her side at all times for the near future to ensure she is comfortable, safe, & surrounded with love.
