We sadly lost a lovely sister, auntie and friend Cathie on the 14th February 2026.

Ironically this was Valentine’s Day when flowers sales rocket and are extremely expensive! Cathie hated flowers and always said she didn’t want them at her funeral. We kindly ask you to please refrain from buying them. 

Cathie also did not have a preferred charitable cause. 

Instead we are kindly inviting you to donate towards a memorial piece for Cathie’s ashes. This is a bespoke made wooden book rather than a china urn, which will keep Cathie safe at home with us. As a librarian Cathie always had a love for books so this piece feels very fitting (please see photo attached).
