Cath Lewis - NHS Nurse scammed by N&K Kitchens

I’m a neighbour of Cath Lewis, a single parent of two girls, and an NHS Sister who worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic.

Cath instructed a building company - N&K Kitchens - to demolish her existing conservatory and make it in to an extension with a kitchen. Cath has lived in her home for 20 years and this was a dream of hers that she had worked hard towards affording.

Unfortunately, her dream build soon turned in to a nightmare and £60,000 later, all Cath has to show for it is a huge hole at the back of her property, which is incorrectly been propped up and is in danger of causing the rear of her property to collapse.

Cath was recently featured on BBC’s X-Ray and their chartered surveyor said it was probably the worst work he’s seen. Trading standards are now involved but it is unlikely Cath (or others affected) will get any or all of their money back.

Cath is an extremely private person and has been reluctant to start a fundraiser but after the programme we can see how many people want to help.

If you’re able to donate, it really will be going to somebody who deserves it. This person looked after your loved ones in ICU during Covid, living apart from her daughter’s during the height of the pandemic to look after her patients.
