On May 23, 2017 I entered the ER with what was diagnosed as an Acute upper GI bleed. I had started vomiting blood by the bucket. Lost several huge clots from the other end too. I was told I have Liver Failure, cirrosis of the liver (nonalcoholic). My liver was banded. Suddenly, my abdomine started growing...and it's scary. I maybe went back to work too soon, but I am by myself and have rent and bills to pay. I am a caregiver and had a very busy schedual.
July got even worse... my main client died suddenly of a heart attack. Her wages paid my rent... $1100. I have borrowed all that I can to keep the roof over my head, but I've been unable to find more clients due to this pulminary edema (37lbs. of water retention in 2 weeks; no luck in getting to go away.) Things snowball for me...I was diagnosed this week with ovarian cancer. I don't have any family to help me thru this; my mother, who I took care of for 12 years, died in 2012. My only brother died in 2010. I'm in very dire straits. I haven't been able to find work to cover my rent this month and I could possibly be facing eviction next month. I'm still trying to find work, but with the news of ovarian cancer, I don't think I'm going to be able to work. I desperatley need $900 asap to pay rent for the first of next month.
My funding would cover:
3 months of rent (1100/month)
3 months of cell phone payments ($37/ per month) need to keep a working phone for doctors, clinics, and job searches
3 months of a bus pass ($44/ month) used to get to doctors, clinics and job interviews.
Any extra monies would go to the electric bill and food.
I thank anyone who can help me. I've never been so scared of what my future looks like. I can't go homeless and deal with all this medical stuff...not alone. It hurts to be the last person standing after being there for family you loved. I can only hope my 2 angels can guide me thru this.
