Cate's Medical Fund and Eddie Fitz Recovery Fund

** Please read update regarding Cate, and the focus of this Go Fund Me page moving forward.**
Hello friends. On Sunday, October 4th, my dear friend Eddie Fitzpatrick, aka Eddie Fitz, was hit head on by two people who has been shoplifting at Patriot Place. His beautiful Australian Shepherd, Cate, was in the car with him. They both suffered devastating injuries and had to be extricated from the vehicle.
This Go Fund Me is specifically to help with Cate's medical bills. She is currently at VCA in Weymouth where she can receive neurological support. We do not have a prognosis at this time. It is still early in Cate's journey and care. My intention with this funding is that Fitzie not have any monetary concerns, as he has already had multiple surgeries, and there are more to come.
I own The Village Groomer & Pet Supply in Walpole, and say to you that understand our connection to our dogs, this dog is his world. She is by his side every day. The joy that she brings him is beyond description. When he speaks of her, he breaks into an Irish accent, and calls her his lass. To deal with the injuries and surgeries he is facing, and what his beloved Cate is facing, is something I cannot imagine. So, if you find it in your heart, please donate so Cate can get every possible medical support she needs, and Fitz doesn't face an overwhelming debt.
