Catching up after domestic violence

Hello, my name is Hannah. I have 4 children, June, Lawrence, Patrick, and Mary Lou.

I was the victim of domestic violence on August 13th. My husband was arrested and is no longer in the home.

I was a stay at home mom so I had no income or daycare.

I was able to find daycare for my children, but I have only been able to doordash as finding work has been difficult. I finally found a job and I start work on October 16th.

I have applied for many assistance programs, food stamps, cash assistance, daycare assistance. Unfortunately these have either fallen through or have a long wait time. I'd applied for county assistance and only just received food stamps last week. So, a lot of my doordash earnings have had to go towards food.

I am currently 2 months behind on rent with rent due again on Nov 1st.

My electric and gas are at an $800 balance currently as well. My water is past due.

I've asked others to ask my husband to help get these things caught up, but he hasn't been willing. I'm trying so hard to get everything caught up so my children and I can stay in our home.
