Catbells Group Walk In Memory of Steve Bolderson
As many of you are already aware, my family and I tragically lost my dad on November 21st 2015. Descending Cat Bells in the Lake District. Having suddenly collapsed where he was stood, the incredible Keswick Mountain Rescue Team scaled the fell in less than 40 minutes. The team did everything they could to save him, alongside the help of Dad's brilliant walking friends and the wonderful team at the North West Air Ambulance Service.
Dad sadly lost his life that day.
As part of our fundraising efforts, we would like to invite our family and friends, as well as anyone who knew Dad or would like to show some support, to join us in walking Cat Bells together this August. We kindly request that everybody taking part makes a £5.00 donation to the Keswick Mountain Rescue Team ( through this page or direct ) to show our gratitude for their efforts that day.

More information about Keswick Mountain Rescue Team: Keswick Mountain Rescue Team is comprised of nearly 50 members who are available 24/7 to carry out rescues on the surrounding fells here in the Lake District. Rescues include trauma injuries, such as broken ankles; medical issues e.g. cardiac arrests; and people lost or benighted. We attend around 100 rescues each year, including one or two fatalities. None of the team is paid, and most juggle team membership with paid work, family commitments and their own enjoyment of the hills.
