Catastrophic Flooding in Uganda

Donation protected
On July 30, 2022, heavy rain fell for twelve hours, continuing into this week, with devastating effects on the remote village of Namanyonyi in the eastern part of Uganda. Two children drowned in a desperate search for food in a corn field. Crops, which are the only source of food, have been destroyed. The well which provided clean water is out of use until the rain stops.

There is no insurance to cover these losses, only the generosity of caring people in the United States and elsewhere. Please send as much as possible -- donations in any amount will have a big impact.

It will take a long time for the Jews, Muslims, and Christians in the village to recover, but at least we can make a beginning. Thank you very much on behalf of these families.
