Cataracts Surgery

Hi everybody!

I’m Monte. Many of you may already know me from my YouTube channel Monte Cagle, where I have a Vlog sharing the story of my life and discussing other topics that are close to my heart.

About 4 years ago, I started to notice I was experiencing some cloudiness forming in both eyes and it started gradually degrading extremely fast to where my vision became very blurry. And soon even basic day to day chores became difficult to manage. I went to a few eye specialists and found that I was developing cataracts.

This year I went for a thorough examination and I need to do Cataract surgery. Before my eyes began to deteriorate, I was very active in my music work, performing at schools and events and community activities. And lately, I’ve been hosting a regular karaoke night with my wife, giving young people an opportunity to express themselves and their natural talents on stage.

The doctor told me that the left eye is a fairly simple procedure to replace the lens, but the other eye requires a more intense procedure which would cost over $2,000 dollars.

 After looking at all the possibilities, I realize I need a lot more assistance than my insurance can give me. I am asking you to help with GoFundMe. I would really appreciate it very much to use my new sight not only to support myself but also to be able to perform and in doing what I love best, which is helping people and would like to go on doing that. I have been a volunteer worker for most of my life and have helped to support various charitable projects around the world, and now since it’s me and my wife, I have more time to dedicate to missions to help in my community.
