Cataract Surgery for Ashley

Dear friends, as many of you know my daughter Ashley developed a cataract in her right eye during pregnancy seven years ago and was required to have surgery to correct it. Unfortunately about two years ago she developed one in her left eye that has progressed rapidly and has caused serious vision impairment. She is facing a second surgery. This type of condition is rare for a woman in her 30's, but unfortunately she has been hit twice with it. 

She had a consultation with an eye doctor today and they can schedule her for cataract surgery for the left eye this month, thank goodness. The doctor also examined the eye that was operated on previously, and it looks very healthy. With this second surgery her vision will hopefully be fully restored so she can drive and do the many other things a mother of an active and beautiful 6 year old son like Carter can do. :)

The cost of her surgery is $5,500, which is a prohibitive amount of money for her. I am reaching out on her behalf. If you are able to help her with a financial contribution we would truly appreciate it.
