Catherine & Marlon's FIGHT MS Fund
Donation protected
Many of you know Catherine and Marlon Ramirez. They are some of the BEST people I know. As you might know, Catherine has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for the past 20+ years. Even with MS, Cat and Marlon have been blessed with two beautiful children, Donovan and Fiona!
Catherine is one of the most joyful and jovial people I know. Her upbeat, happy personality is only enhanced by her positive attitude and cheery outlook on life!
I can honestly say that she is the sweetest person I know!
The MS is now entering the secondary progressive stage (advancing in flare ups) as it started in her brain and now progressing in her spine.
Cat's symptoms and attacks come in waves and this last attack was pretty rough. The worst symptoms come in the form of intense migraines (trigeminal nuerolgia), a super painful nerve problem that hurts her ears.
There is also extreme fatigue and memory loss.
These attacks can leave her immobile and not able to get out of bed at times.
The hope is that with treatment, she can push back the illness a few years. There's no cure, but there are some things that help temporarily.
Throughout all of this, Catherine still remains so happy and positive. She is the greatest...and if there's anyone that can fight this terrible disease, it's her.
Throughout all of this too, Marlon has stayed the course! He's helped raise two beautiful children, standing next to Catherine the entire way! I can't explain how much respect I have for him.
Marlon and Catherine need help to pay for extra treatment and therapy...treatments that insurance won't cover.
Marlon works double shifts to make ends meet and barely sleeps. As soon as he comes home, he cares for Catherine and/or attends to the kids, only getting a few hours of sleep before heading back to work.
Extra funds would mean more help with child care, more family time, and a little more stability for this incredible family!
Please join us in helping them out!
They are two of my favorite people in the world, and I know they mean so much to so many of us.
I didn't know too much about MS until I began researching it because Cat had it...

There is still no cure.
The donations are tax deductible and any amount helps.
