Catalyst Salon Fire
Donation protected
We've been trying to write this for days. We don't want this, we don't want to write this, we don't want this to be real. I think the shock is starting to wear off and the words are starting to form again.
How do you explain that your whole world has been turned upside down in a single night?
For those who haven't heard, Catalyst Salon experienced a devastating fire this week, which was followed by flooding. The place where we've laughed, cried, prayed with clients, and created beauty.
This salon isn't just our business—it's truly our baby. We've poured everything into creating a space where every woman who walks through our doors feels beautiful, valued, and safe.
The name Catalyst came from our the definition a person or thing that precipitates an event.
Our goal is to be Confidence Catalysts for all our clients, for you to come in one way and leave complteley transformed.
Now that space is gone, at least for now.
We know god will take care of us. He always has. And sometimes, I believe He works through the kindness of the community around us.
While we do have insurance (thank God), anyone who's dealt with insurance claims knows they can take months to process. In the meantime, we're scrambling to:
Find a temporary location to keep serving our amazing clients
Replace the basic equipment and supplies we lost in the fire
Keep the Catalyst family together during this heartbreaking time
Catalyst has always been more than just a salon—it's been a place where we believe in taking care of each other. Right now, we need some of that care to come back our way.
Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us bridge the gap until our insurance gets involved.
We promise to keep everyone updated as we figure out our next steps.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for any support you can offer. Whether it's financial help, sharing this campaign, or just sending up prayers for us—it all matters more than you know.
With tears in my eyes but hope in my heart,
