So as you all know, my oldest daughter Cataleya had an Ameloblastoma tumor removal procedure mid-April. She had to undergo a 22-hour surgery to remove a fibula bone flap from her left leg to reconstruct a new jaw from it. After a month and a half hospital stay and lots of physical therapy, she's been on the road to recovery!
But on 7/8/2025, we received the news that the fibula bone flap in her jaw isn't viable. So they will have to go and redo this whole process of removing from her right leg and redoing a whole new jaw, this time with doctors who specialize in facial reconstructions. So here we are again, putting my pride to the side and asking for help!!
I was on the path to finding a new stable job as I've been doing gig jobs such as Spark, DoorDash, and Uber to try and keep up with the bills. RJ has missed work to be by our side, and it has put us in a bind. Her insurance wasn't able to cover a lot of the costs, so we're left with insane amounts of hospital bills, which the last donation helped cover. It’s taking so much of me to even ask a second time for donations! It doesn’t even have to be monetary. A prayer, some good vibes, and thoughts sent our way will be more than enough
Thanks to everyone following along our journey and keeping up with Cataleya!! She was amazed by how many people showed up for her. We read all the prayers and all the shares. She felt sooo loved!
