Cat's Fight for Life

Cat's journey continues in a new, unplanned direction...while we all hoped that this time would be spent healing from chemo and radiation...the latest testing has revealed the cancer has metastasized and Cat will begin a new, aggressive chemo regimen next week.

Though she has resisted giving up work - at this time every ounce of her energy will be required to fight this fight - to enjoy the best quality of life while keeping this cancer at bay. Though a cure is not in the picture at the moment, new research every day gives us hope that there is a better prognosis down the road.

I met Cat through meeting the needs of others. She has always been the first to raise her hand...to help whenever she could...I'm not sure I've ever known anyone with a bigger heart. Cat has made friends everywhere she goes and I hope that we can all come together to help her now!
