Hi, as many of you already know Babs and I continue to feed our own little colony of stray cats year round in Zakynthos. Not only do we feed them but we ensure any ongoing treatment costs, neutering and basically anything else needed. When new cats appear they get added to our mix and when it has been needed all veterinary costs are covered.

One thing we are keen to do is to ensure that the many cats have access to clean food and water at different times of day even when we aren’t there- at the moment it relies on us using large trays which often get exposed to the elements.

This is where our wider friendship circles come in- we have sourced a wonderful cat feeder that will be made specific to our requirements complete with chicken protection :-) our goal is to raise £200 to help with this and will include security on the feeder and another sack of food. We will of course go ahead and get it built but it would help immensely as very soon we will be finding the costs for all of them to have their latest flea, tick and worming treatments.

We truly would appreciate any help you can give as we know times can be challenging - but these feeders really will be a game changer to keeping the cats healthy and well fed.
