UPDATE:
It is with great sorrow and broken hearts to say that cancer took the life of this strong, loving man, husband and father.
Michelle is now widowed with 3 young children. Vince was the sole financial provider, as Michelle was a homemaker.
Please help support Michelle, Aidan, Alexa and Aaron as they transition into life without their provider, man, husband and Daddy.
They will need help with medical bills, funeral costs, moving expenses and financial support for the next year.

Words from Michelle "Family & Friends: Heaven gained a new extraordinary, amazing angel....the love of my life, father of our children, my husband, Vince. He was the most amazing, loving, selfless father a wife could only hope for her kiddos. Everything he did he had them in mind and loved them more than himself. He was outspoken and true, yet misunderstood. But not by me - I got him. He was a big gentle bear that never made me feel unwanted or unloved. He stood by me and loved me thru thick and thin...even when bald, one boob, and inflated as I went thru cancer. He never flinched or wavered, instead he stuck by me. He was an intelligent, caring, respected coach not just for our boys and girl, but for others as well. Ball was his 3rd love only behind our kids and me. His investment to teams drove me nuts at times, but again I got him and supported him fully. I will never understand why he had to go so soon and not stay with our kids and me to raise our children and grow into old age. I only know heaven gained an extraordinary man at our expense. If I sound angry, I am. I'm heartbroken not just for me but our kids. However I remain faithful to God as I try to gain peace and comfort for us knowing Vince is no longer hurting and rejoicing in eternal life. Vince, you are so loved and missed but will NEVER be forgotten. We love you yesterday, today, and always. Rest in peace my hubby. Rest in paradise, Daddy, you are our Super hero. Until we meet again my honey bunches of oats.....we love and cherish you!"

Meet the Castrejon family- Vince, Michelle and their 3 beautiful children- Aidan, Alexa and Aaron. These are the most incredibly involved parents you'll ever meet! Vince has been coaching all of his childrens sports teams ever since T-ball! Michelle volunteers in the classroom and on the PTA. Together Vince & Michelle volunteer on the Little League baseball board, Vince as the board Vice President and Michelle as the board Treasurer. It has been this couples dream and life pursuit; to start a loving family together.
Trials and tribulation have been a relentless battle ever since Michelle was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was still breast-feeding their third child, Aaron. She fought through her breast cancer with more bravery that I have ever seen. With having three toddlers at home and going through surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation and all the treatments involved with breast cancer, you can imagine how scary these years were. But God is good and they are survivors-they persevered!
Finally, life was getting back to normal!
Unfortunately, not for long:(
October 11th, 2016 Vince was taken to the hospital after complaining of feeling off for a few days and collapsing in the shower. They found a brain tumor, surgery was scheduled for the next morning and the tumor was discovered to be malignant. 2 days later it was diagnosed as a very aggressive form of brain cancer.
Vince has a long road ahead of him. After recovering from his initial brain surgery, he will start to undergo radiation treatments and a series of other cancer treatments for the next several months. He'll be out of work for a minimum of six months, best case. Michelle is a stay at home mom, which leaves Vince as the sole source of income.
We're hoping to do whatever we can to support the Castrejon family over the next six months to a year to help support them emotionally, physically, spiritually and financially as Vince is out of work and undergoing treatment & healing. Meanwhile, Michelle is taking care of the children, Vince and their household, as well as maintaining her own health as a breast cancer survivor.
The money raised will be used to cover living, medical and school expenses for the next year while Vince is in treatment.
Thank you for reading this! Thank you for the kindness in your hearts that you are showing by donating a love gift. Thank you for showing your love and concern for Vince Castrejon and his sweet family. Most of all thank you for your prayers, they mean so much to all of us, especially Vince and Michelle. You can also contact us for other areas you see an unmet need.
Thank you!
