Still needing forever home

Due to no fault of his own Clifford the big red dog needs a committed, experienced new home.
I have temporarily taken him in as his previous owners separated & they were clearly struggling to feed him as he was very underweight.
His home last 4 years was with another dog and 3 children & he has a loving, temperament.
Since taken him in 3 week ago he has been wormed , flees , had his anal glands emptied and given probiotics and put on a steady diet. He is restarting his vaccs as these were also outdated
He has been ok with my own dogs (3chis & a collie ) and visiting chihuahuas that I’ve boarded but a bit unsure towards the cats.
He has been on walks with my son & collie & behaves well although he does tend to pull & get excited when he sees another dog or something interesting like sheep which is likely from a lack of experience out being & about, although I can handle him ok & som lets him off lead over farm fields
Clfford is a large, strong dog and therefore needs someone with experience of large breeds & preferably someone who is home a lot who can spend time with him & give this amazing boy the love & commitment he deserves.
He has been known to whine when left alone but I'm sure this is due to his current circumstances.
He is currently on a diet of grain free dry biscuits with intermittent boiled chicken or mince. His recovery from neglect means I didn’t try to find a new home til he was ready & I usually leave biscuits down so he can eat as lib.
He seems in good overall physical health & his ears, teeth, feet & fur are all in great condition.
He has the best nature even though still entire & is very affectionate & friendly & will make someone a loving loyal friend. He is already getting attached to me after a week & I’ll be more than happy to take him back for boarding if ever needing to go away.
He can jump a 45in gate though so maybe need a fence over 4ft and he can open doors
im starting this go fund me to try and cover the cost of castration as although not needed I think it may help or make it easier to find a potential new home
vaccinations were £99 and been quoted £450 for castration that could go up if complications or requiring more medication whilst under.
i have set the bar at £600 to cover castration and vaccinations but anything over that would also go towards feeding etc as you can imagine he eats a lot . But please share far and wide in case home can also be found .
we have to take him to Leeds for dogs trust to assess him but I need to also find time to do this round trip and no gaurentee they will take him just add to a waiting list so would prefer home found more local
