Castleconnell has a population of over 2000 people and there are no all weather sporting facilities for its young people. In 2014 our school and parents' association decided this needed to change. We have a beautiful but not very functional pitch at the back of our school. We  have been fundraising for the past 5 years to turn this into an all weather playing pitch for our community. It will be a modern sporting facility for Castleconnell N.S pupils during the school day and for organised after school activities like hurling, camogie, soccer and athletics.  It will also be made available for sports organisations after school hours. There is no facility of this type in Castleconnell. We intend to change this with your help ! To date we have raised €110,000 but we are still €60,000 short. Please give what you can.
