Castle Triathlon
On Sunday 1st September I will be completing an Olympic Triathlon (1.5k Swim - 40k Cycle - 10k Run) which as you’ll know is miles out of my comfort zone; swapping out beers and bacon rolls for running trainers and swimming goggles. We’ll be starting the swim at Arundel Lido at 7am, then cycling across to Shoreham (via Storrington), before bringing it home with a 10k run into Bramber. We’d love as much support on the day possible, but most importantly your support in raising awareness and funds for such a special cause.
In 2022 we all lost a best friend in Kirsty; the chattiest, most engaging, fun and inspirational person I’ve met and I’m honoured to have her in mine and my families lives.
The Kirsty Louise Streek Foundation has been set up by Kirsty’s family to raise money to grant organisations supporting Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer and Sarcoma, all of which Kirsty battled in her life. The aim of my triathlon is to raise as much money and awareness as I can to support other people in similar situations.
