Castle Newnham Chromebook Quest

Castle Newnham School, working with local estate agents Hollands Smith, has launched the Chromebook Quest — a new community initiative to bridge the digital divide.

Our goal is simple but urgent: to raise £8,400 for 30 new Chromebooks (£280 per device) so pupils has equal access to the digital tools that support learning, inclusion and future-readiness.

From interactive map work in Geography to collaborative writing in English, Chromebooks are transforming classrooms. But demand has outpaced supply, particularly for pupils without devices at home.

Every donation counts. We’re calling on Bedford-based businesses and community supporters to pledge £100 to part-fund, £280 to fully fund, or up to £1,000 to fund multiple devices. Whatever the amount, your support will make a direct and lasting difference to our pupils.

Every pledge will be proudly acknowledged on:
• Castle Newnham and Hollands Smith’s social media channels
• A dedicated “Pledge Wall” at the school
• ‍Within the Castle Newnham school community

It’s a simple but powerful way to support digital inclusion, local education, and the future of young learners in Bedford.
