Hi! I'm Cassi. A lot of you don't know me, and some of you do. It took a lot for me to do this, but part of life is accepting that it's ok to ask for help. This is to help my son and me, as well as my unborn child, be able to move out of state and get away from the unsafe situation we are in.

A little back story: I was happily engaged to the man I loved for over a decade. The night we found out I was pregnant, July 13th or so, ended with hands around my throat and a sleepless night, my phone thrown against the wall, and threats to harm my unborn child and my son. He had already physically harmed me multiple times since then. Every weekend since has been similar due to being unable to leave as I have been a SAHM since he moved us here in Jan this year. The final straw was the plethora of other people, threats, and finding a vile text regarding a child in his old phone.

I had filed a protection order which he is dodging service on.

So here we are. The funds asked for will help pay for the fuel from TX to AZ and back to TX, totes for our belongings, and some essentials for my son and myself until I start working, which would be ASAP upon arriving in TX.

Why TX? My oldest is there and we all had planned on moving there this year; however, due to circumstances, it's now just my son and me escaping DV and making sure my children are safe from a predator. My oldest kiddo's other mama will have to drive here by herself to get us. Hence, the helping with diesel costs, food, and totes, and helping my son and me be able to put groceries and essentials in our new spot until I get paid from my job I'll be starting there ASAP.
