Cassie’s emergency surgery

Hi, my name is Stella & I’m Cassie’s mom. We adopted cassie when she was nearly fully grown, two years ago. Her previous owner was no longer able to take care of her, so she spent four months in a shelter. When we asked about her, they told us she’s a shy pittie who has not yet had any visitors in her nearly five months of shelter time. When we got her alone in the visiting room, it was an immediate connection! Cassie has blossomed into a loving girl who loves to run and play! She since got certified to be an Emotional support dog & underwent training. She has brought everyone so much joy being around her, she lights up any room she’s in, & instantly loves you. She has helped me more that she’ll ever know, she is the best dog!

Nearly a year ago I took her to the vet for limping, she was diagnosed with a partially torn ACL. they advised me to let her be a normal dog & run around as long as she can, however, someday she will need surgery. I'm afraid we’re coming in on that day.

Absolutely ANY help will be appreciated. Cassie and her loved ones are hoping for an easy surgery & a short recovery, so she can get back to what she loves most, running!
