Cassie used to be a vibrant young lady with her whole life ahead of her. She has a loving husband, children, grandchildren and a host of family and friends on her side.
Cassie went to the hospital ER with Cauda Equina Syndrome and bladder incontinence. She had surgery 48 hrs later. There is a time window of 24- 36 hrs to prevent permanent damage. She had already been diagnosed with RSD/CRPS in her left arm , leg and foot She also has cervical spine issues. Due to post surgery complications Cassie has been suffering from loss of control of her bowel and has to self catheterize she is also confined to a wheelchair with a severe spinal cord injury and Cauda Equina (which is the horse tail of nerves that comes out of the bottom of the spine). She is suffering from full body spasms that are seizure like activity and extemely painful and makes her brain disassociate from her body. She was not able to return to work for the Sate of Fl Dept of Health and lost her medical coverage. She has to have around the clock care. Thank you for your prayers and support.
