My niece Cassie Jean Tiedemann and partner Cole Peterson just had their daughter, Cora Pearl, on Wednesday, May 28th. All doctors appointments were good and Cassie was feeling tired but good, due June 16th. Cora was born a little early and a healthy 8 pounds, 10 ounces but with fluid in her abdomen due to a perforation of her intestine. They have performed surgery to fix it but she will she will need to be in the hospital for a minimum of 6 weeks and, potentially 2-3 months depending on her healing. They have 2 other children at home, Kyler (3) and Klyde (2) and they unfortunately have no insurance and/or savings. Cassie obviously will be mainly at Cora’s side and unable to work. They will need medical bills paid, gas money, food, etc.
