Cassie Beckstrom Cancer Fund

We've restarted this fundraiser as Cassie's health is continuing to decline. We will keep you updated and we will know more on May 23rd about the status of her cancer, which has metastisized. Meanwhile, she needs pay her bills until she is healthy again. We've included her story from the original fundraiser below.
Hello friends and family. I want to to tell you a story about a beautiful young lady I know and the trials and tribulations she is facing. As of early February Cassie began to have pain and what followed caused her a great deal of health issues; including fatigue, slowing metabolism, jaundice, loss of appetite and a few other medical conditions which were originally thought to be a common thyroid issue (hypothyroidism) which runs genetically in her family.
After seeing one medical professional she was diagnosed with graves disease. She was treated for Graves, and nothing seemed to get better. We became very concerned about her declining health and she went to see an endocrinologist who then discovered a lump on her thyroid. After a fine needle aspiration/biopsy revealed she was diagnosed with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma, (Thyroid cancer) which has now metastasized into her lymph nodes.
She is having major surgery including a thyroidectomy, multiple lobectomies (neck dissection) and she will be hospitalized with a significant recovery time, and then will be having radiation to rid her of the excess cancer tissues not being removed by the surgery. A drain will be placed on the left side of her neck with a bag to collect the excess colloids removed during surgery.
Her surgery is scheduled at HCMC on Tuesday, May 3rd. She will be lonely and we dont know how long recovery time will be, so feel free to drop a comment if you'd like to visit! As of now, she is constantly having neck pain, hoarseness, and swelling in her throat as well as common cancer symptoms such as fatigue, nausea and vomiting.
We cannot wait until Cassie gets back to her beautiful, bright, and happy self, but the medical costs and time off work for her are stressful for someone facing such huge issues and we'd like to help take some stress off of her back by starting this gofund me. We dont know how long it will be until everything is treated and she is able to function normally without care, especially after the surgery.
Although this is a huge ordeal, and this form of cancer is often reoccurring, it is very treatable with enough finances and the right medical care. Please empathize and help us help her take care of her medical costs and everything she is not able to pay for whilst not working! Thank you all so much.
Cassie starts chemo again in June so we've restarted the fundraiser , or if we can afford it, immunotherapy again at the Mayo
Thank you so much for your support
