Cassandra’s Funeral and Medical Costs

Hello Everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this. On November 15th, my mother lost her battle to cervical cancer that she has been fighting for the past year.
This past year has been very tough on our family financially, as we expended all resources to do everything we can to fight the cancer full-force: chemotherapy, radiation, which eventually turned into hospice measures for comfort care.
Although we knew her diagnosis, we weren’t prepared for how quickly she declined this past month. This is why we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community to assist us with funeral expenses and the medical expenses from hospice care this past month.
I wish more than anything that I didn’t have to be writing this today, but we know that my mother is no longer suffering and in a better place.
