Hi, we are Jonathan and Meghan Byrd. We met Cassandra's mom, Helen back in 2009. Yesterday afternoon, while checking Facebook we were both heartbroken to hear that Cassandra was killed overnight in Cincinnati from a car accident. With the approval of Helen, we have offered to set up a go fund me for Helen to be able to help with any costs for Cassandra's funeral and any bills that will occur from this horrible tragedy. No parent should have to plan a funeral for their child. I never got to meet Cassandra personally. All I know is Cassandra and Helen were so much alike. After the loss of Cassandra's dad, Gary, years ago and now losing Cassandra, Helen needs all us more than ever before. Any donation is appreciated. An average funeral runs around $7000. Please help us take the financial burden off Helen's shoulders. Looking over Cassandra's facebook, she was so worried about her mom when their cat of 20 years, Lola had to be put down. A quote from Cassandra on March 13, " I'm sad that what feels like one of the very last living links to my father is about to be gone." Little did anyone of us know that less than 2 months later, Helen would have to be planning a funeral for her only child. Helen, we love you so much!!! Please lean on all us.
