Cassandra Furman Memorial Fund

Cassandra Furman passed away on Saturday, July 7th, 2018 after battling multiple health problems over the past few years. She was 36 years old, and loved dearly by her husband, family and friends. 
After being hospitalized in late June, doctors gave her a life expectancy of 3-6 months. Only one week after that estimate was given, Cassie’s health began declining rapidly, and her body could only endure to hold on a few more days. Her family and friends are left in a state of shock, as we thought we would have more time. More time with her, and more time to prepare.
Cassie came to terms with her fate, and was at peace. She openly discussed her wishes for a memorial service with her family and friends. She made it very clear that she does not want a funeral, because funerals are sad. Cassie wants to have a Celebration of Life party, where her family and friends can reminisce, laugh, and honor the beautiful and amazing person she was.
We are trying to raise money to help cover the expenses of Cassie’s memorial service. Everyone who loved her is invited to come once we work out the details.
