Chefs for the hungry

With the closure of many restaurant businesses a lot of people are financially hit and still stranded during this pandemic. Not only people working in the industry, but also nonprofits that are often supported by the restaurants through food donations.

To respond to these challenging times for so many, we decided to support people like our wonderful Friend Cassandra in cooking and donating weekly hot organic soups to CHiPS Community Help in Park Slope during this Winter Season.

Since 1971, CHiPS (http://chipsonline.org/ ) has been supported by a community of Brooklyn neighbors, volunteers, and friends who share a common vision to help those who are less fortunate. This community prepares hot, nutritious meals and serves them to the hungry in a caring & respectful environment. Mothers are provided with parenting and life skills to prepare them to become independent and help finding permanent housing. Their services are offered free of charge through the generosity of our community.

If you’d like to be in support of this cause and help Cassandra in her mission to be in service to others, please make a donation and/or share this initiative around. Every donation will transform into delicious weekly soups for the hungry!
