Cass's Emergency Vet Hospitalization

We adopted Cass a few years ago from Diamonds in the Ruff after he had lived 4 years in a shelter in West Virginia. Since then he has been our snuggly white polar bear dog! This past tuesday he started throwing up and by Wednesday was admitted to Penn Emergency Vet for care. He had very high Kidney and Liver levels and was having abdominal pain and nausea.  They suspect he has Leptospirosis because he has all the symptoms but his tests have come back negative. They began treatment and things looked hopeful that he could come home on Saturday. But he has gotten worse. His stomach is inflamed (they now also suspect gastritis as he wont eat on his own. Because he wont eat on his own they cant get him used to having his medication in pill form that I will be able to give him. Because of these things he can't come home and aren't sure when he will be able.
They believe time is what he needs and unfortunately time costs money that we just don't have. Covid-19 has seen us shut down since March 9th and we have lost all our events and even some weddings and commercial contracts as a result of the virus. We know there is a lot going on in the world with people, the pandemic, social injustices but I can't just give up on him when what he needs most is time. With all going on in life I just can't give up on him. and I'm not even allowed to visit him in the hospital because of Covid-19

FYI 100% of the funds raised will pay for his hospital bill (which is already $8500)  and aftercare with his vet
