Cass, Justin and Baby Elli

Hi!

My name is Kaitlyn and I’m fundraising on behalf of Cassidy and Justin Behles.

Cass and Justin welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Elliana, on December 2nd. Cassidy had to be induced early due to medical complications, but nonetheless was over the moon to be welcome her baby girl earthside. I had the incredible privilege to be their birth doula and witness them during Elli’s birth!

Shortly after being born, Elli started having some complications and was moved to the NICU. There they ran multiple tests and treatments, trying to determine and figure out what was going on.

Today, Elliana was helicopter flown to Minnesota. The NICU providers after running a bunch of tests and trials and not seeing a lot of improvement think there is something going on with her heart. They are unable to say for sure what’s going on and have no further testing available, so off to the specialists they go.

Cass and Justin are beyond scared but know she is in the best hands.

They want to thank everyone for their support, thoughts, and prayers. It does not go unnoticed and is very appreciated. We will continue to update as we are able. We know this girl has a lot of spit fire and sass (all told to us by the nurses) and she will get through this and so will her parents. ❤️
