Hello, my name is Casper and I’m going to swim the length of the River Mole (49.5km) in 2026. I’ll do this by swimming 2,295 lengths at the SMART Swim Centre in South Molton!

I have decided to raise money for ELF because they helped support my family when my mum, Katherine, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2022. She was pregnant with my youngest brother, Reuben, at the same time so she really kept everyone at the hospital very busy!

Mum stayed on Yarty Ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital for a whole week every three weeks while she was having chemotherapy. ELF helped to raise money for lots of things there: a luxury suite of rooms which my brother Felix and I liked to rampage around in, lots of tea and coffee for Dad, Alan and loads of snacks too!

Mum and Reuben are both doing great now - so I’d like to raise money to say thank you to ELF and help some other patients with blood cancers.
