The CASLV Windmill Drone Teams have once again made it to Regionals! Please help us by supporting the teams to make it to their tournament in April with a sponsorship or a donation. The teams work hard all school year long attending practices, fundraising, attending tournaments, and working hard to get this far.

All of the students are high-achieving CASLV Windmill Falcons in academics, school representation, and perseverance. We are in our 3rd year of this program, but it is a large financial expense. We have an amazing diverse group of students (grades 5-7) who participate in this program and we are continuously fundraising and looking for ways to reduce costs (such as blending together non-working drones to create a working drone).

The students really enjoy this program and they learn a lot from this program, as it teaches them a multitude of skills that can help them both now and in the future. Some of the skills that they learn through this program include, but are not limited to: piloting a drone, air traffic control, FAA regulations and certifications for UAS, logbooking, scouting skills, interviewing skills, programming/coding, teamwork, time management, skill relation to careers, engineering, critical thinking, and so much more.
