For my 60th birthday on February 27th, I'm asking friends and family to join me to empower young women, ages 10-21, through Casimiro Global Foundation's Ella, Inc. Camp (https://casimiroglobalfoundation.org/our-programs/ella-inc/).

According to UNESCO, more than 300 million children don’t receive a formal education. Girls make up 53% of the global population of children that are out of school. The gender disparity continues to widen at the secondary school levels in many countries. Only 70 young women for every 100 young men complete upper-level education in low-income countries. Overall, the pay gap widens in the general workforce, and in higher-level corporate positions for women vs. men.

I'm offering you, or your company the opportunity to make a social impact investment (for my 60th birthday) of $6, $60, or $600 to help us empower and teach girls to proactively think bigger and plan better while designing their own success pathways. Participants will learn how to create opportunities that lead to a mindful and sustainable future. The funding being raised will provide a life-long impact for young women that, quite frankly, are underrepresented in STEM careers and higher-level positions of leadership. We're counting on you to help Casimiro Global Foundation make a difference in society. This campaign runs from January 28th to March 28th, 2022.

We are targeting 100 young women, from Latin America, the Caribbean, Miami, New Jersey, and New York to participate in a series of workshops that will lead to our Ella, Inc. Camp to be held at a local college campus in Miami, FL this July 24th to August 5th, 2022.

If invited to Phase 1, candidates are required to participate in a pre-camp workshop in their city to qualify for the Ella, Inc. Camp
A total of 25 young women will be announced and expected to attend the Phase 2 camp in Miami, FL
Participants who complete Phase 1 and 2 will participate in Phase 3's quarterly virtual follow-up sessions
