Cash’s Gender Affirming Top Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is Cash (they/them/he), a transmasc artist living in Ashland, OR. I am raising funds to support my upcoming top surgery and recovery time. Donations will help me live authentically and allow me to heal with ease and security. Your support means so much to me.

Everything is coming together sooner than I had expected. My consultation appointment was on February 20th and I scheduled my surgery for May 15th. This gives me a little less than two months to raise the funds that will go towards paying for my surgery and recovery costs. These funds will cover my direct medical costs, bills during recovery, and post-op care needs. I work a physically demanding job and live a very active lifestyle, so my recovery time will be 8 weeks where I will be unable to work and will have limited physical mobility.

I am fortunate to have health insurance that recognizes gender affirming care as a necessity, and that I live in an area where access to care has been relatively easy. However, this is not the case for many trans and gender diverse people. Any funds not used will be paid forward to other trans people who need support to live a comfortable, thriving life.
