Cash's Battle: Every Penny Counts

Donation protected
Today our boy Cash was unable to use his back legs. We had no idea what was going on. He had vomiting this morning and diarrhea. Thinking he ate some grass or something he wasn’t suppose to and was passing it. Well getting a call while I was at work saying Cash can’t get up. Those were the words that made me jump out of my chair at work and rush home. Usually I get a wagging tail and a jumping dog at the door. I got nothing. We weren’t sure what to do. We don’t have the money for an emergency vet but yet we took him to one in Burton and they denied us they said he needed to go to a 24 hour clinic where he can get the care he needed. We rush down to Bloomfield to hopefully get the answers we needed for our boy. We get there and they come out with a gurney and two techs to help us get him inside. After hours of sitting in the waiting room not knowing what’s going on with Cash. We finally get called back into a room. They have done X-rays, and have taken blood samples. His counts on his bloodwork were all normal besides one which showed he was dehydrated. Then they show us the xray. There are items that definitely don’t belong. The vet gave us options. We pay 5000-6000 for them to rush him into surgery, we take him home and hopefully find a vet cheaper that could do the surgery next day or we let him go… obviously we want to do anything we can to save our baby. We usually don’t ask for help. But today we are in much needed help to put some money back into our account due to having to empty it just so we can keep our baby alive.
