Cashew was rushed to the emergency vet and is in critical condition. He’s suffering from a painful blockage that’s life-threatening, if things don’t improve by tomorrow, he may need invasive surgery to survive.

He’s just a young boy, rescued from a high-kill shelter in California, now living with his brother Bean and sisters Tofu and Sage. He’s the sweetest soul, gentle, goofy, full of love, and doesn’t deserve to be in this much pain.

His mom, Ashley, and dad Rob are completely heartbroken. They are devoted vegans and lifelong animal advocates who give everything to the animals they love. Now, they needs help.
