Cash for Cash Bevan!

Our darling Cash  was born in June 2020 with a rare genetic disorder, Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata Type 1. This condition effects his bones, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, eyesight, intellect, and general growth and development. Most children with this condition do not survive childhood. More about this condition can be found at the link below:

This disease means that Cash's life expectancy is short and the time that he does have is fraught with challenges for himself and his family.  Cash was born during the pandemic and spent the first 51 days of his life in a children's hospital. He was unable to have many visitors; even his parents had to take turns when the hospital only allowed one parent into the hospital at a time. After going home to live, Cash and his family have had to continue having minimal visitors, despite his need for round the clock care.

Cash's mother Kara, quit her job to be available to her son and his older sister, 2 year old Ava. Kara had provided the health insurance for the family and Cash's dad Chris picked up health insurance at his job. This meant that they had two annual insurance deductibles to meet in 2020. Cash is now 9 months old, and his parents are now paying their third annual deductible and annual out of pocket maximum, which is $17,000 for 2021. The family continues to survive on only half of the income that they had prior to Cash's birth.

Chris and Kara want only the best for Cash. They are razor focused on him having the most comfortable and happy life that he can have. They are determined to create and celebrate happy memories of having him in their family.  Cash reached a major milestone recently; at 8 months old he distinctly laughed! It was a wonderful moment!!

It would be very helpful for Cash's parents to have less financial stress and this fundraiser is designed to help them pay their 2021 annual out of pocket expenses for Cash's medical bills. Any help you can provide helps relieve some of the stress and make it easier for Cash and his family to enjoy their time together.
