Hi, my names Alicia Posey. I’m Melissa’s little sister. On Tuesday afternoon Melissa was taken to the ER with severe abdominal pain which ended up becoming more serious then anyone could have thought. She is now in the ICU and having complications with her kidneys that the doctors are looking more into in hopes for some answers. She has a long recovery and unfortunately she’s without insurance at the moment.

Melissa is always the first to fundraise for anyone. Including complete strangers.. every Christmas she collects coats for the homeless and personally distributes them throughout Chicago. She helps whenever she can and she goes far and beyond for others. If you can help in any little way we would all appreciate it.
