Casey’s Kidney Journey:

We are very grateful for those of you whom would like to donate, however, if do not feel comfortable using Gofundme, you may donate via Zelle using phone number [phone redacted] or Venmo using username @support-casey-kidneyfailure or phone number [phone redacted].   Currently and through his hospital stay, dialysis, and 6+ months after transplant, we are behind approximately  $2,800+ per month.  I do have a budget sheet I would be more than happy to show you if you request it.   

Some of you may know us, some may not, but right now we could use all the prayers and support we can get    We
are a family of 7 and my husband, our children’s Dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare form of kidney
disease in January 2020   His body did not respond to the medications to slow the progression and he is now in the final stages of kidney
failure and on theTransplant list, with dialysis starting at anytime his Doctor gives the word  (dialysis should have started months ago, but
he is a fighter and keeps going without it, yet).  We owned our own business, Code 3 Pest Control and work hand in hand day in and day out to support our family.  Our business is what brought in the money to fully support our family and his medical out of pocket costs until the 
time recently came where his Nephrologist feels he should no longer be working.   As his body declines, work declines, especially in this
summer heat of 100+ degrees, not to mention he’s on day 68 straight in the hospital.   As mentioned, his doctor has said, no more work, but Casey feels he has to work to keep  our family afloat during this time.   His health is
my #1 priority and I so badly want him to be able to take care of himself without having to worry about work right now and therefore, as much as we loved it, our business is no longer.   We had to close down due to the severity of his kidney disease and inability to work.   

He is not eligible for social security disability because he was a police officer and in the military.   I am actively 
searching for a contingent attorney to help us with this as he had to retire from PD  in 2015 due to an injury on the job, and 5 surgeries
later he was unfit for his duties as an officer (that was a hard time on all of us, especially him).  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Furthermore, we recently found out when he retired, if we had an attorney he could have received up to 90%, but he only receives 50%
since retirment in 2015.  I am also looking for an attorney for this.  Again, any suggestions 
would be appreciated.    

As you can see, we have unexpectedly been put in a very difficult finanical position, right at a time when we 
were finally doing well.   This has been a huge roller coaster for us and our children in many many ways. 

He is extremely immune-compromised and his health and our children are our #1 priority    Any donations
received will go directly to his health care and to taking care of our family and our other bills and household needs at this time.   As our son says in the video posted, he is our everything.
