Casey's UNC Heels Abroad Program Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Casey Jones. I am a full-time student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I major in journalism and media and Communications. I am currently on the Dean's list and have been since my arrival at Carolina. Recently, I was selected to participate in the UNC heels abroad program where I will have an opportunity to pursue my college studies in Italy. This is an incredible opportunity that I am so grateful to be a part of.

The UNC Heels abroad program is a 2 month long program where I’ll be taking courses. This one-of-a-kind program will help me achieve some of my career goals in Fashion Marketing.

Although this is a great opportunity, it is financially compromising. I will need to pay out-of-pocket costs for room/board, travel expenses, and tuition. I am currently working two jobs and saving as much as possible, but closing the gap will still be difficult.
