Casey's surgery & recovery costs

Donation protected
Hi there folks! For those who don't know, I'll be having surgery soon to help address the endometriosis-related symptoms I've been dealing with for the last decade, which is both exciting and nerve-racking.

I'm very lucky to have health insurance, a great boss, and close friends and family to help support me through this experience, but I will still be taking a hefty financial hit related to the procedure and my recovery from it. Working as a social worker/in the mental health field and dealing with chronic illnesses (I was also diagnosed with an autoimmune condition) for the past decade has left me without much of a financial safety net, so any support you're able to offer at this time would be much appreciated!

Any donations made will help me cover the costs associated with this period including medical bills, basic needs, and travel expenses for my brother, who is flying in from the West coast to help me with my recovery (thanks, T! that new nursing degree is coming in real handy right now). Any amount you're able to contribute would be a real help and would reduce some of the stress related to my temporary financial circumstances. Thank you!

And for those who aren't able to offer a financial donation at this time, please know that I understand and I appreciate your support regardless of whether it comes in the form of a monetary donation or kind words or a helping hand. Also, for anyone wanting to support my long term stability, please check out/get the word out about my side-hustle, Hawk Girl Guidance, an alternative coaching business I'm trying to get off the ground. Thanks for everything, folks!

FYI it is estimated that full recovery from the surgery will take 3 weeks and I will have a lapse in income around this time. I am tapping into some public programs, but there are many I don't qualify for. Thanks for understanding.

And no, that's not my adorable baby, it's my perfect niece, who I made the journey to meet last Spring despite some serious fatigue - because chronic illness might F a lot of things up, but I wasn't gonna let it keep me from this little nugget. Really hoping/looking forward to this surgery providing some relief and restoring some energy so I can get back to frolicking with my nibblings. Thanks for helping make that happen!
